NHRA WEEKEND

Twice a year the NHRA Drag Races come to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and this weekend was the October Race. I couldn't wait!!! All day at work i just wanted to be out at the Track SOO Bad!!! So Friday Night after work Luis and I headed out to the Race Track to watch the Drag Races. I love it out there!! My dad always says that it's the "Celestial Kingdom" whenever we go to NHRA. haha... It is my passion I Love Love Love the drag races!!!

They had alot of cool stuff out there this weekend....these pimped out diesel trucks to look at that were unreal!! (sorry my pics suck..Luis takes much better pictures than me..plus they are just from our phones!) PSCA was also there..... PRO MODs are my favorite!! That is my ultimate dream/goal is to race promod someday!! & We checked out Tony Shumaucher's Pit for a few....I was hoping to get a glimpse of him!!!! haha...J/K Mi Amor!!

Luis and I walked around and looked at everything for awhile and then hurried over to watch the TOP FUEL Dragsters and Funny Cars run !!! They are AMAZING there is NOTHING like watching the cars Racing down the quarter mile at 300+MPH in 4 seconds or less....it makes your entire body shake..... it's incredible!!!The Greatest Adrenaline Rush You'll ever have!! That also has to be one of my favorite smells in the world ..... The smell of the burning rubber from the burn outs mixed with TOP FUEL.....mmmmmm... its the Best!! We had so much fun! I'm glad that Luis and I made it out there so he could see how awesome Top Fuel is...and maybe he can understand my love for Drag Racing!

Then on Saturday Morning i met my Dad out at the track, and we spent the whole day walking around the Pits talking to some people that he knows and looking at everything. That is one reason i love the Drag Races so much because i get to spend time with my Dad I share that same passion with him for fast cars and Racing, but i also get to a chance to catch up with him! He teaches me sooo much!!and I love the time i get to spend with him!!! Here is a video of one of the passes....

We watched Pro Stock Top Fuel and Funny Cars and then headed back to the Pits......

I wanted to see if i could find John Force, Ashley Force, or Tony Shumaucher to get their autograph.....since they are my FAVORITES and the BEST of course!!!

Ashley Force was standing right outside her Pit so my dad asked her if she would take her picture with me....She was Way nice!! So i got my picture with ASHLEY FORCE!!

This is a terrible picture but Its on my Dad's camera so ill have to get a better copy of it later.... but that TOTALLY made my day!!!!

After my Dad took our picture he was trying to get some more pics of Ashley's car and her crew that was working on it. He was standing right behind the car when they started it up, and it wasn't too bad at first cuz they were just warming it up and then they reved it up full throttle..so the Top Fuel Fumes went right in his face. Poor guy!! I'm sure that hurt pretty bad...Top Fuel is STRONG STUFF!! I was standing farther away and it still burned my nose and made my eyes water! It probably singed all of his nose hairs off!!! He said he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to catch his breath!..... We got a good laugh about it afterwards but i'm sure it wasn't a very pleasant experience for him!! We walked around the Pits a little while longer and then went into the Nitro Mall. Every NHRA Race my Dad buys me a hoodie that i want....It's our little tradition so i got this Ashley Force Hoodie this time.... :)

& It was a "BEAUTIFUL Day at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway"!!!! :) .... but really even the weather was sooo nice!!! & a Huge Thanks to Kami for the Tickets!!! :)

Kami and Denise

I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS to my good friends Kami & Denise ... who got engaged a couple of weeks ago & are getting Married Dec 26!!! I am soo Happy for them!!! They are awesome and really great examples to me! Today after work i'm going to meet Kami and Jamie at Davids Bridal to look at all the Pretty dresses for Kami to Choose from....How exciting!! & Way fun girl time!! I can't wait! Love you Kam!

It's been awhile...

So i started this blog back in May and i was all motivated and going to post a blog everyday...well that didn't happen! I guess maybe because i never know what to write about...and my life isn't too exciting so its not like i have anything too interesting to talk about... but i'm going to try and do better!! There have been a few things going on in my life lately i guess.... i decided (out of no where) that i wanted to start painting- so i went to Dick Blicks Art Store and bought some beginner supplies & it has been soo much fun! I'm not very good at it but i enjoy it alot! I'm excited to start taking a painting class so i can learn some of the techniques........another thing that has been going on is ... My dad and I, well mostly MY DAD & MY BROTHER FINALLY FINISHED THE RACE CAR/TRUCK i just helped with the little things here and there.. but i will post another blog on the RACE CAR tomorrow when i can get some pictures to put up.... Other than that my life has been pretty much the same ol... just working and hanging out...But it has been Good.... Well i guess i will blog more tomorrow i better get some work done before it's time for me to leave!!

New to the Blogging World

So i decided to create my own blog. I used to make fun of the fact that people would use a blog to tell everyone about what is going on in their lives, but i guess it just sorta grew on me and i decided that i wanted to give it a try. I don't know if i am going to be any good at it but i will try. I would like to be able to just sit down and type out all my thoughts and make sense of everything but i DONT KNOW if i will ever be able to do that..... but here it goes!
